June 28, 2004 Sacasa- Del Sur Released Sacasa's debut album, Del Sur, is now available at cdbaby.com and awarestore.com. He was recently featured at the New York City ASCAP Latin Show case and in 2002 he won Grand Prize in the Latin category for the John Lennon Songwriting Contest for his song "Quiero Maria" featured on this album. The album is "a luscious, funky debut, a complex blend of old and new...and contributing to Del Sur's heat is Latin Grammy winner Nestor Torres whose masterful flute on "Sombras" is one of the records highlights."
