The Max Fisher Group is an innovative group with a repertoire written and arranged by singer guitarist Max Fisher. Influenced by South American, African and European music, Max comes up with original material which reflects all of these influences by ultimately falls into the rock genre. Max Fisher was born in the Soviet Union and raised in New York City. He brings to his music a wide range of cultural diversity and multi-etthnic influences.

The Max Fisher Group has a variety of New York's finest musicians accompanying Max. When the Max Fisher Group performs in an "MTV Unplugged" acoustic setting, Max adds a variety of different instruments including violin, cello, upright bass, Venezuelan cuattro and congas. When Max Fisher Group performs "electric," Max plays his electric guitars, adding drums, keyboards, and electric bass.

Max's CD was recorded in 2000, egineered and co-produced by Doug Derryberry (Dave Matthews Band, Ben Folds Five, Bruce Hornsby). The CD is an eclectic effort.
